Resentment Dismantlement Protocol

As we approach human missions to Mars, we need human emotional engineering.
Fix the mistake. Learn together. Rebuild trust.

Resentment Dismantlement Protocol: make it safe, own it, fix it, talk it through, check for closure, log the lesson, share the lesson, rebuild trust

Make the situation safe first.
  1. 1

    Own it

“I did X. It affected you in Y way.”

  2. 2

    Fix it

Repair the damage. Ask for help.

  3. 3

    Talk it through

10 minutes, before the next sleep.

    What happened?What hurt?What do we need?What next?
  4. 4

    Check for closure

“Closed” or “Not yet, let’s revisit.” No forced forgiveness.

  5. 5

    Log the lesson

What will we change to prevent a repeat?

  6. 6

    Share the lesson

Weekly crew check-in. Share learning, not gossip.

  7. 7

    Rebuild trust

Try a similar task again when safe, with support.

A mistake is an event, not an identity. Celebrate honest reporting and good repair.
Small slip?

Quick acknowledgement.

Serious or repeated safety breaches?

Separate review.

Mars Crew Pairing Protocol

Pairing is a comms protocol. Design it or it designs you.

Mars Crew Pairing Protocol: emotional regulation, conflict resolution, fuckability as baseline, engineering attraction, Earth spillover
Read as text
01

Emotional regulation

  • Downshift after conflict before touching hardware.
  • Name the state: tired, jealous, flooded.
  • No silent treatment longer than one sleep cycle.
02

Conflict resolution

  • Repair in hours, not weeks.
  • Third crewmember or ground psych is a channel, not a rumor mill.
  • Private pairs cannot freeze out the rest of the crew.
03

Fuckability as baseline

  • Selection already filters for fit, healthy, high general intelligence.
  • Inside that pool, most bodies are sexually eligible.
  • Eligible ≠ chosen. Desire must be mutual and revocable.
  • Fuckability is never a performance review.
04

Can attraction be engineered?

  • Rituals, drills, shared hardship build fusion and trust.
  • Arousal from danger can be misread as lust. Label it.
  • You can train repair, consent language, and veto rights.
  • You cannot install who someone wants.
05

Earth spillover

  • If everyone in the filter is “fuckable by default,” pairing options rise and jealousy rises with them.
  • Copying this slogan on Earth turns attraction into an HR metric.
  • Cabin rule: allowed, designed, never coerced.

Mars-144 Societal Architecture

12 crews × 12 humans = 144 people. Small enough to cooperate, large enough to endure.
